Description
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.
We are currently seeking a PRNPrimary Care Physician at the Metropolitan Transition Center (MTC) in Baltimore, Maryland.
This PRN Position is for Coverage of Weekday Evening Shift 3-11p
The Primary Care Physician provides medical assessments and evaluations, provides treatment for emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues, provides and supervises medical treatment for chronic medical conditions, and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases and injuries of patients in a correctional setting. The Primary Care Physician works under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director and collaborates with the Health Services Administrator to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
• Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required - Board Certified/Eligible in FM/IM/EM Primary Care required
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and (CDS) registration
- Correctional Healthcare experience preferred not required
- Ability to pass credentialing and background check
