Description
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time Statewide Director of Nursing to join our team at our Illinois Regional Office located in Springfield, Illinois. This position will be remote with up to 75% travel (minimum 3 days/week) to our correctional facilities throughout Illinois.
The Statewide Director of Nursing provides clinical, educational and professional supervision for site directors of nursing and support staff. The Statewide DON works under the direction of the Program Manager/VPO and collaborates with medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team in the correctional environment to improve healthcare of incarcerated patients. Salary range starting at $140,000 depending on years of experience.
Qualifications
- IllinoisRN license or ability to obtain license.
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
- Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Current CPR certification and current tuberculosis documentation
- Corrections, forensic or criminal justice experience preferred
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
