Centurion is proud to be the provider of dental services to the Florida Department of Corrections. 

We are currently seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team at Reception and Medical Center located in Lake Butler, Florida (Union County). * 32054 zip code 

The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision, assisting the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting. Additional responsibilities include preparing and sterilizing dental instruments, preparing and maintaining the dental operatory, operating radiographic equipment, and additional administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required 
• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or 12 months of experience as a Dental Assistant required 
• Certified Dental Assistant license and/or Expanded Dental Assistant Certificate or ability to obtain one required within first 6 months of employment
• Florida Radiograph Certificate, or ability to obtain one required within the first 6 months of employment
• Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation preferred, or willing to obtain one upon hire
• Certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or willing to obtain one upon hire
• Ability to pass a security clearance, to include drug screen and complete criminal background check

6am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday
