Hourly salary of $37.80

Tuesday and Friday, 10 hours each day

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Part Time Dental Hygienist to join our team at Sheridan Correctional Center in Sheridan, Illinois.

The Dental Hygienist performs oral hygiene treatment for offenders to include prophylaxis, curettage, and other hygienist procedures in a correctional setting.

Essential Duties:
• Operating radiographic equipment to obtain dental radiographs of patients
• Maintaining patient dental records
• Completing required reports/paperwork
• Providing personal oral hygiene education and instruction individually or in a group setting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Successful completion of a dental hygiene program required
• Dental Hygienist license or ability to obtain license required
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
