JOIN Centurion Health in our NEWEST PARTNERSHIP with Illinois Department of Corrections.

We are seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Logan Correctional Center located in Lincoln, Illinois, 30-miles northeast of Springfield.

Logan Correctional Center is a multi-level security facility for female and transgender individuals. This facility also serves as the state's female intake, reception, and classification center.

The Clinical Psychologist provides psychological leadership, consultation, and direct services for patients in an assigned facility. The Psychologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in providing assessment and treatment of mental and emotional disorders of patients.

Lincoln, Illinois holds the distinction of being the only city named after Abraham Lincoln before his presidency. Strategically situated along historic Route 66 and Interstate 55, Lincoln offers convenient travels to Springfield, Bloomington‑Normal, Peoria, Champaign‑Urbana, and even halfway to Chicago and St. Louis. The city offers affordable housing and crime rates are lower than Illinois and the US average making Lincoln a safe place to live. 

Hourly rate of $72.12. 

Qualifications

• Must hold PsyD or PhD from a US APA accredited university program.
• Must have successfully completed post-doc requirements.
• Licensed in Illinois as a Clinical Psychologist
• Supervisory experience required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Must be able to pass credentialing and background check.
• Prior locked unit experience is highly desired. 
• Work legally in the United States without sponsorship.
