MHM Services of California, a Centurion company, is proud to provide healthcare staffing solutions to the California Department of State Hospitals.

We are currently seeking a 1 day a week position for an Audiologist to join our team at Patton State Hospital located in Highland, California.

 $53.00 Per Hour

Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm  (1 day per week)

Under the direction of the Assistant Chief of Education, the Audiologist is responsible for administering diagnostic tests to identify residents with hearing impairments, determining the nature and extent of hearing disorders, and providing individual and group habilitative and rehabilitative services. Responsibilities also include preparation of reports and summaries on diagnosis, prognosis, progress, and recommendations for assigned cases. The Audiologist confers with teachers, parents, and employees regarding progress and treatment and trains them in therapeutic procedures and methods of motivation. This role may also supervise the work of Audiologist License Applicants.

Qualifications

• Valid license to practice audiology in California as determined by the Speech Pathology and Audiology Examining Committee of the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance required
• Master's degree in audiology or equivalent field as defined by the Speech Pathology and Audiology Examining Committee
• Dispensing license preferred
