Description

Centurion Health team is looking to add a full-time Telepsychiatrist (MD or DO) to our team providing services to various State Correctional Facilities throughout the state of Illinois. As the leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities nationwide, we have partnered with the Illinois Department of Corrections to provide mental healthcare services. Our psychiatric team enjoys working with a clinically rich and diverse patient population and has the time to initiate change, track progress, and conduct better follow-up with the patients in our care.

The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.

Salary: $180/hour

Qualifications

Candidate Must Have:

• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license (MD or DO)
• Active, unrestricted DEA
• Current Board Certification in a Psychiatry specialty is required
• Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week during Monday - Friday daytime hours
