Description

We are looking for a licensed clinical psychologist to join our mental health team at Menard Correctional Center to serve as the Site Mental Health Services Director.  Menard Correctional Center is located in Menard, IL which is approximately 60 miles south of St. Louis, MO.

The Site Mental Health Service Director provides guidance, direction, training, and clinical supervision to all Mental Health Professionals, except for the psychiatrists within the facility of responsibility. Ensures that staff are compliant with all applicable agency, facility, policies, and ensuring adherence to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Salary of $160,000 or more based upon years of experience. 

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Must hold PsyD or PhD from a US APA accredited university program.
• Licensed in Illinois as a Clinical Psychologist
• Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification
• Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable is required
• Supervisory experience in a state or county corrections facility is preferred
