Description
Salary up to $85,000.
This is a non-union, salaried (exempt) role.
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time Site Manager to join our team at Menard Correctional Center located in Chester, Illinois.
The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, including healthcare and clerical staff. They will be responsible for ensuring health records are maintained in a confidential and secure matter, developing and implementing corrective action/performance evaluations, conducting quarterly review of DOC guidelines and monitoring for compliance, and will work with the Regional Manager, recruiting, and resource management on facility needs and filling of vacancies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
- Prior supervisory/management experience required; corrections environment preferred
- Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred
- Prior knowledge working with Collective Bargaining Agreements preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Must be organized, detail oriented and possess effective communication skills
