Description

Centurion Health is the proud provider of healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. 

We are currently seeking a part-time Dentist (12 hours per week) to join our team at Women's Eastern Reception and Diagnostic Correctional Center located in Vandalia, MO.

The Dentist provides comprehensive dental treatment to address the oral health needs of incarcerated patients, including examinations, while providing preventative and corrective services. The Dentist develops, reviews, and evaluates dental treatment plans and procedures.

Qualifications

•    Dental degree (DDS or DMD) from an accredited university required
•    License to practice dentistry in the State of Missouri 
•    Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
•    Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use
•    Proficiency in exodontia techniques 
•    Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable

Available Shift

• Day shift
• 6 hour shifts
• 2 days per week
• No nights, holidays or weekends
