MHM Solutions, a Centurion company, is proud to be the provider of healthcare staffing solutions to state agencies within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Psychologist to join our team at Torrance State Hospital located in Torrance, Pennsylvania.

The Psychologist provides psychological leadership, consultation and direct services for patients in an assigned facility. The Psychologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in providing assessment and treatment of mental and emotional disorders of patients.  The Psychologist also interviews patients to identify strengths and weaknesses; administers a variety of psychological tests which are designed to measure intellectual capacities, attitudes, competency, achievement levels, social developmental levels, neuropsychological functioning, and personality traits; scores test results and interview responses, and participates in the treatment team process in order to aid multidisciplinary treatment team staff in determining appropriate individualized treatment goals for the rehabilitation of patients with a mental illness.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

-Possession of a PhD or Psy.D in psychology and a current license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or possession of a current license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board

-Licensed Psychologist with experience with providing treatment to individuals with mental illness and intellectual disability, one year of which must have been in a supervisory or administrative capacity

-2 years of experience as a licensed professional

-Corrections experience a plus

-Active CPR card

-Credentialing and background check
