Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.  We are currently seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Lawrence Correctional Center located in Sumner, Illinois.

Salary $30/hr

The Physical Therapy Assistant reports to the Physical Therapist. This person will promote and maintain health by providing physical therapy services within a team approach, providing quality care in a secure setting.  Under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, this person will implement care plans for incarcerated individuals for rehabilitation.  Additionally, this person will help mentally and/or physically impaired individuals with tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current/Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Illinois
• At least one year of experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant preferred
• Experience working in corrections/ behavioral health preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
