Description
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join our team at Walton Correctional Institution located in De Funiak Springs, Florida.
The Mental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.
** The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm **

Qualifications
- Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
- Active Florida license preferred: LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT (provisional licenses accepted)
- Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns will be considered
- Candidates who are license-eligible in Florida (able to apply for a Registered Intern license based on an accredited master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling) may also be considered for an interview. If hired, licensure must be obtained prior to start date.
