Description

Hourly salary of $35/hour.

We offer a $4/hour differential on evenings and a $3/hour differential on nights. 

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time Night Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Menard Correctional Center in Menard, Illinois. 

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

•    High school diploma or GED equivalent required 
•    Clear/Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Illinois or ability to obtain one required 
•    Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) 
•    Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Shift: Full-Time Night Shift

The schedule includes rotating weekends. When Saturday and Sunday are worked, the following Tuesday is scheduled off. When Saturday and Sunday are off, the following Wednesday is scheduled off.
