Centurion is proud to be the provider of medical services to the Florida Department of Corrections

We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse's to join our team at Lake Correctional Institution located in Clermont, Florida

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Seeking Full Time (days & nights)

Schedule 6:00am-6:30 pm with rotating weekends (3-12 hour shifts)

Qualifications

•    High school diploma or GED equivalent required 
•    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required 
•    Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) 
•    Experience working in mental health preferred 
•    Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
