Compensation: $17.00 – $22.00 an hour

Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of mental health and medical services for the Georgia Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) to join our day shift team at Baldwin State Prison Milledgeville, GA.

This role is ideal for CNAs who prefer consistent day hours, competitive pay, and a structured clinical environment without the constant interruptions and stress of traditional hospital settings.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing basic patient care and support services to incarcerated patients under the direction of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and medical and psychiatric staff. This role supports both physical and behavioral health needs within a secure correctional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, mobility, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Support medical and mental health teams in patient care delivery
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Follow established safety, security, and infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification - State certification required 
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR or BLS
• Ability to obtain security clearance via the GADOC, including drug screen and criminal background check
