CADAC I certification required or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire or CADAC II required or ability to obtain within 24 months of hire

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. 

We are seeking an Addiction Recovery Specialist at Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, Indiana.

The Addiction Recovery Specialist provides supportive substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation services to patients within a correctional facility, through outpatient treatment, addiction recovery education, and group counseling.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree required; bachelor's degree in a human services or related field preferred 
•    Must have Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CADAC II) certification or higher (CADAC II+, LAC, LAC-A, LSW) or be actively working toward attaining a CADAC II within two (2) years of hire
•    May substitute higher education for experience but must hold a four-year college degree and possess a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) 
•    Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
•    Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
•    Ability to pass and maintain a security background clearance

Available Shift: full-time days, Monday-Friday
