Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights Phillips State Prison
Centurion Health is proud to partner with the Georgia Department of Corrections to provide comprehensive mental health and medical services to the incarcerated population.
We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Phillips State Prison, a structured, team-oriented correctional healthcare environment.
Position Details
Status: Full-time
Schedule: Nights
Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekends: Rotating
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $41–$46 per hour, based on experience
Shift diff Rate: $3.00 per hour, + $1.00 weekend coverage, based on experience

Qualifications
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice. Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor, the RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, and deliver care addressing patients’ medical, mental health, and psychosocial needs in a secure environment.
This role is ideal for nurses who value structure, clear protocols, teamwork, and consistency in patient care.
Minimum Requirements
Associate’s degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)
Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to obtain one
Active CPR certification
Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance, including drug screening and criminal background check
