Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Tennessee Department of Correction.
- We are currently seeking a part-time Primary Care Physician to join our team at Mountain City Correctional Complex located in Mountain City, TN. One week on and one week off (5- 8 hour days)
The Physician provides medical assessments and evaluations, provides treatment for emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues, provides and supervises medical treatment for chronic medical conditions, and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases and injuries of patients in a correctional setting. The Physician works under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.
Qualifications
- MD or DO from accredited medical school
- Active, unrestricted TN license
- Active DEA
- Ability to pass credentialing, drug test and background screening
Shift
- One week on and one week off (5- 8 hour days)
- No nights, holidays or weekends
- Call is PAID and by phone only
