Description

We are currently seeking a Full timePhysical Therapy Assistant to join team at Patton State Hospital located in San Bernardino, California.
Must have Physical Therapist Assistant license in State of California. We are unable to accept Physical Therapist Aide certificate
Monday through Friday Day shift - $25.00 per hour + Medical, dental and vision
The Physical Therapist Assistant works under the direction of the Physical Therapist to promote and maintain health by providing physical therapy services to incarcerated patients. Using a team approach, this professional provides quality care in a secure setting; with supervision, this professional implements the patients’ care plans for rehabilitation and helps mentally and/or physically impaired inmates to participate in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program required
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in applicable state
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Corrections experience preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
