Centurion Health is the provider of medical and mental health services for the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team at Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison (GDCP) in Jackson, GA.
This role is best suited for nurses who are confident, structured, and able to provide care in a high-acuity, highly regulated correctional environment. If you thrive in fast-paced settings, value clear protocols, and want predictable scheduling without hospital chaos, this is a strong fit.
Schedule
Full-Time Night Shift
7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Rotating weekends
Clearly defined schedule and expectation
Compensation
$31.00 – $36.00 per hour, based on licensed experience
Night shift differential: $2.00/hour
Weekend differential: Additional $1.00/hour

Qualifications
Position Responsibilities
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care within their scope of practice to incarcerated patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RN), physicians, and psychiatric providers. Responsibilities include responding to medical and behavioral health needs while adhering to security protocols and clinical guidelines.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (or ability to obtain)
Current CPR certification required
Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and background check
