FT 4 days/32 hours per week (3 days Indiana Women's Prison + 1 day Edinburgh Correctional Facility)
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a part-time Dental Assistant for an opportunity at Indiana Women's Prison located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Dental Assistant (Indiana) works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.
Essential Duties:
• Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments
• Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory
• Operating radiographic equipment
• Administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant required
• Certification in Dental Radiology required
• Certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shifts: part-time or full-time
- Part-time 3 days/24 hours per week at Indiana Women's Prison
- Full-time 4 days/32 hours per week (3 days at Indiana Women's Prison + 1 day at Edinburgh Correctional Facility)
