Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. 

We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Women’s Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center located in Vandalia, Missouri.

The Mental Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Mental Health Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient. Mental Health nurses may also participate in and lead group classes for incarcerated patients as needed.

Qualifications

• Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required 
• Must be IV Certified
• Must be actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Experience working in mental health preferred
• Corrections experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift: Mon-Tues & Thur-Fri, 32 hours per week, 8 hour shifts
